Citizens Panel
An informed and representative Citizens Panel was set up, to meet regularly and discuss the emerging findings from Beyond Current Horizons.
This was a key part of the project’s public engagement activities, which aimed to ensure that Beyond Current Horizons was shaped by the values and aspirations of all those with a stake in education.
The Citizens Panel was drawn from carefully selected representative groups, based upon key demographic data emerging from the research programme. They were supported to engage with a range of futures thinking tools and resources, in order to provide comment and direction on the research challenges, and develop further questions.
