Research challenge papers

Research on the five challenges is currently being carried out and written up by leading experts in each field.

Challenge papers will be available in the late autumn, and scenarios by spring 2009 (see research into action). More cross-challenge papers will be available by September 2008 (eg an overview/provocation paper, a report on risks and uncertainties, outcomes from events). All papers and other outcomes will be posted here. The five research challenges were chosen from a long-list of challenges, drawn up at the beginning of the research programme. A set of outline papers were written for this long-list and are available to download - see long-list challenge papers for more details.
