About Power League: Beyond Current Horizons Edition
This special edition of Power League has been created to support Beyond Current Horizons, a programme of research being undertaken by Futurelab on behalf of the Department for Children, Schools and Families.
As society and technology continue to evolve at rapid rates, our education system will face a number of significant challenges. What sort of skills will we need to teach, to equip children for work? How might parenting and the family change between now and 2025? What kind of changes will digital technologies bring about in how we learn? The Beyond Current Horizons programme aims to look beyond 2025 in order to equip education to prepare for and respond to these changes.
An important part of the Beyond Current Horizons research is about finding out what the priorities, hopes and fears of the general public are regarding education. By voting on these two leagues, it allows us to find out a little more about what your priorities are for education in the future.
Taking part in Power League is completely free and anonymous - we don't need to know who you are. All data collected will be used to inform the Beyond Current Horizons research and, ultimately, inform government educational policy and planning.
If you would like to send us any comments about this league, please contact us at beyondcurrenthorizons@futurelab.org.uk.
