Colin C Williams is Professor of Public Policy in the School of Management at the University of Sheffield. His research interests are in retheorising the nature of work and evaluating its implications for public policy. Recent books include Rethinking the Future of Work (2007, Palgrave Macmillan) and The Hidden Enterprise Culture (2006, Edward Elgar).
