Robert is Director of Strategy at the Training and Development Agency for schools (TDA). He has extensive experience in national policy making as a senior civil servant dealing with education and children’s services, including areas such as curriculum, assessment, school improvement, workforce, and international comparisons. He has also worked with the British Council and on a Foreign and Commonwealth Office programme. He has a PhD in International Relations. Robert’s current role is about ensuring the TDA contributes to system reform of the children’s workforce in schools, and his interests include strategic analysis, the use and presentation of data, and future trends in education.
